Treasure Bay
Casino
Treasure Bay reopened June 21, 2006 with 81 slot machines and a restaurant lounge.
The company has spent $27 million acquiring property around its casino and
now controls 30 acres. Treasure Bay is also spending $25 million to upgrade
its hotel and put a temporary casino inside it. The property will be fully
operational by October 2006, with an additional 450 slots, 22 table games a
second restaurant and 250 hotel rooms. The first phase of Treasure Bay’s rebuilding project is complete and the
casino is now open for business. Located on the first floor of the hotel, “The Den” features 81 slot and
video poker machines, a bar and a 24-hour restaurant offering an intimate,
casual form of dining where one can choose from a variety of items, such as
appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Parking is available in
front of the hotel and across the street. Door-to-door shuttle service is
available. During this phase of the project, guests must be 21 to enter. Inside the casino, players will find a variety of their favorite
multi-denomination games along with an updated slot system that features a
new instant reward program for players club members. Points earned using
your Treasure Seekers card can be easily converted to “InstantCredit” right
at your machine. With InstantCredit there are no more coupons and no more
lines. The credits will also move with you if you decide to change machines.
To access the new system, players will be required to get a new Treasure
Seekers card and a four-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) from the
players club, which is located at the main entrance to the casino. As construction continues on the property, plans are underway to expand
The Den to include an additional 150 machines within the next few weeks. Be
sure to keep an eye on the web site for updates on our progress. While guests and employees are excited about the reopening, this is only
a small taste of what is planned for the property. The big push is now on
for the Grand Opening this fall. With a fresh new modern look, the second
phase of the Treasure Bay project will include a remodeled hotel with
250-rooms and a casino expansion to more than 750 slot machines and 22 table
games. Additional amenities are planned for the hotel, including a buffet
overlooking the pool area, a spectacular new restaurant and bar on the ninth
floor, a gift shop as well as convention and meeting space. We are pleased to welcome our friends back to a whole new experience at
Treasure Bay and we look forward to seeing you again soon!! Specials in The Den – Available Daily from Midnight to 10 a.m. Steak & Eggs Special – 6 oz. Rib Eye served with Texas Toast and French
